SCHEDULE
Day 01 – City Tour of Cusco:
Upon arrival into Cusco you will be met by one of our professional and friendly representatives. They will be holding a sign with your ‘last name’ on it. You will be transferred to your comfortable Cusco hotel in the air conditioned comfort of our modern van.
Upon arrival to your hotel you will be given a pre-briefing about your upcoming trip and you will be presented with all your vouchers for your upcoming trip. You will have the morning free to relax and acclimatize to the altitude.
In the afternoon you will be picked up from your hotel for your half day City Tour of Cusco. Our tour will start with a visit to the San Cristobal Plaza where we will enjoy panoramic views of the city. From there we will make our way to the San Pedro Markets where we will soak in the local flavours and learn about the products grown in the area which supply the whole city. Our visit to the Koricancha Temple is an interesting one.
This temple in Quechua means ‘Gold Enclosure’ and back in Pre-Colombian times it was completely covered in gold. We will continue on and visit the Santo Domingo Church and then up the cobblestone streets visiting the artisans’ neighbourhood of San Blas stopping by the Inca Roca Palace which today is the Archbishop’s Palace and home of the famous 12 Angled Stone. We will finish our tour visiting the main square in Cusco, the Cathedral and its many precious colonial materpieces.
After your tour of Cusco you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cusco.
Day 02 – Tour of the Sacred Valley:
after breakfast in your hotel you will be picked up for your full day tour of the Sacred Valley of the Incas. We will travel in the air conditioned comfort of our modern van. Along the way we will stop at Awanacancha, a small complex to admire Andean camelids such as Alpacas and Llamas.
We will learn about dying techniques from the locals. Later we will explore Pisac Ruins and the Pisac Markets – the biggest arts and crafts markets in South America. We will then enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in Urubamba buffet luch will be served. In the afternoon our tour continues to Ollantaytambo. Ollantaytambo is a small town full of local colour and inhabited since Inca times.
We will visit the main temple which was used as a fortress during the Inca resistance. A great place to take some amazing photos, after visiting Ollamtaytambo we go towards Chimcheros where we can appreciate the great constructions of the Incas. At the designated time we will travel by van back to Cusco and transferred back to your comfortable hotel.

Day 03 – Travel to Aguas Calientes (Machupicchu):
After breakfast you will be picked up for your full day travel to Aguas Calientes Town which is on the foot of Machu Picchu Mountain. You will be transferred to the train station in Ollamtaytambo where we will embark the train and enjoy a 2 hour scenic train ride unfold before us. We will take in Andean Mountain terrain as we journey through to lush tropical jungle.
Upon arrival into Aguas Calientes, you will be met your guide and he will take you to have lunch and then to your comfortable hotel. Your luggage will be delivered to your hotel Free afternoon and evening to enjoy in Aguas Calientes at your leisure. Overnight in Aguas Calientes (you can visit the natural hot spring).

Day 04 – Tour to Machupicchu:
Breakfast in the hotel we will board the first bus up to the winding road to Machu Picchu Citadel to be able to see the sunrise. We use the best guides in Machu Picchu. They are very professional, passionate and well versed in their knowledge about their ancestors. They will pass on articulate insights into the complexities of the architecture, the significance and the fine intricacies of one of the world’s most profound and fascinating civilizations.
You will have some free time to wander around the ruins at your leisure and then at the designated time we will take a shuttle bus down to Aguas Calientes In the afternoon at the designated time we will take the train from Aguas Calientes back to Poroy. Upon arrival into Poroy train station you will be met and transferred back to your comfortable Cusco hotel.
Day 05 – Cusco – Cloud Forest- Rain forest Lodge:
We leave from Cusco in our comfortable bus, ascending to the folkloric town of Paucartambo. On the way we visit the Pre Incas funeral towers of Ninamarca. Then we drive through the impressive cloud forest full of plants and beautiful orchids, here we take our first hike and we have the chance to observe the Peru´s national bird-Cock of the Rocks (Rupicola Peruviana), monkeys and many differents species of birds.
With luck the only South American bear-the Spectacled Bear (Tremarctos Ornatus). In the evening we arrive to RAIN FOREST LODGE, we sleep in a typical lodge. Included showers and toilets and private room.
Day 06 – Rain Forest Lodge – Palotoa Amazon Lodge:
In the morning after a delicious breakfast, the bus transfers the group to the port of Atalaya, where the adventure begin by motorized boat, to Our lodge for about 03 hours through the Alto Madre de Dios river, you can swim on the river if you like, the lodge has all the facilities such us: toilets, kitchen dining room, showers and rooms with beds and mosquito nets.
In our journey you will appreciate amazing landscapes, enjoy also warm climate of the rain forest. In the afternoon we have a walk explore in the jungle for almost 2 hours in order to see creeping insects like: Spider, tarantulas and other insects, birds, Monkeys and medicinal plants, we sleep in a typical lodge. Showers and toilets and private room.
Day 07 – Palotoa Amazon Lodge (Exploring):
(Exploring) this day, we’ll explore the jungle on our vast trail system, carrying a small day pack including our lunch. On the way, we will see many different kinds of animals such as monkeys, collared peccaries and birds such as eagles, parrots and toucans, medicinal plants, and giant trees.
We might also have time to swim and fish; after the darkness, we will search for caiman eyes. We will spend the night in our comfortable lodge. Later in the evening we will make a bonfire and enjoy a delicious BBQ, and some refreshing drinks.
Day 08 – Palotoa Amazon Lodge – Atalaya Port – Cusco:
This day we will get up early and after a good breakfast we will take the motorized boat that will take us to the watchtower port, there our car will wait for us. That will take us to the city of Cusco, before passing through the forest of clouds and the magical mountains we will arrive to Cusco in the afternoon. The car will take you to their respective hotels

Where is the Manu national Park located?
Located in the southeast of Peru, in the provinces of Paucartambo in Cusco and Manu in Madre de Dios.
It has an area of 1’717’295.22 hectares.
How to get to Manu National Park Peru?
Manu is at 130 kilometers from Cusco city traveling by road, which interacts as a gateway to the Manu National Park. You can also get to Puerto Maldonado by land from Cusco or by air through Lima. From there you can ride the mother river of God by boat. and you can get to the manu reserve. but it is more far and expensive.
Manu National Park when to visit?
The best time to visit is between April and November, during the dry season. The rainy season is from February to March, when access by road becomes more difficult and when the paths in the forest can be flooded.
What is the difference between the cultural zone and the reserved zone?
The Manu National Park is divided into three parts: cultural zone or buffer zone, reserved zone or core zone and the intangible zone. The cultural zone and the reserved zone are for tourist use. The intangible zone is used exclusively for scientific studies and with special permits. More details see section Manu.
Do I need to be in good physical condition to travel?
It is not a requirement, but one must be able to walk a path of several kilometers to fully enjoy what Manu has to offer.
Do vaccines are needed for yellow fever, malaria and malaria?
In the Manu National Park there are no reports of cases of yellow fever, malaria and malaria however if you want to stay longer in tropical places it is better to consult with your doctor.
